The Midland Chamber of Commerce is a membership-based organization that exists to enhance the great business climate in Midland. From the moment businesses become interested in Chamber Membership and throughout your entire membership experience, the membership department of the Chamber puts Chamber members first, working to provide members with exclusive networking, marketing and cost saving opportunities. Guiding potential clients to Chamber businesses is one of the benefits the department provides its members. Through phone call referrals, Web site referrals and organizing cost efficient opportunities for members to reach their markets, the department works to improve the bottom line of its members by increasing their business.
The Chamber also offers a number of events, offering valuable learning, promotional and networking opportunities for our members. These events include our State of Education and State of Economy luncheons, our annual Chairman's Cup Golf Classic, Star Spangled Salute and much, much more. In addition to serving the business needs of our members, the Chamber also manages the Midland Convention & Visitors Bureau, Midland Visitors Center and Midland Center & Centennial Plaza.
Midland Convention & Visitors Bureau

The Midland Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is funded through the City of Midland hotel occupancy tax and works with industry partners with a mission to encourage economic growth by developing, promoting, enhancing and supporting Midland as a vibrant visitor destination. The CVB targets several visitor markets including associations, government, SMERF (social, military, education, religious and fraternal) organizations, sports, entertainment, group tour and leisure visitors. The CVB is also able to provide assistance to local residents when planning for family reunions, class reunions, weddings, anniversary parties and much more - as long as your group will utilize/occupy 10 hotel room nights (10 people for 1 night, 1 person for 10 nights - or any combination totaling 10 total nights)! Midland Visitors Center

Millions of vehicles pass through Midland via Interstate 20 every year, and the Midland Visitors Center is now the first impression travelers have of our wonderful community and region. This visitor center is a great asset to the community and will help educate visitors about Midland. The mission of the Visitors Center is to promote Midland through displays, educational areas, and tourist information. Visitors can learn where to stay, which attractions to visit, shops that have a variety of merchandise and where to sample the wide variety of cuisine available. The Visitors Center also offers information about the histories of prominent families and individuals instrumental in the development of oil, ranching and transportation locally and in the region. Midland Center & Centennial Plaza

Located in the heart of downtown Midland, the Midland Center provides the flexibility to accommodate meetings, conventions, trade shows, banquets, and any other possible need for space. Each year the facility hosts hundreds of events from small and intimate to large and formal. The Exhibit Hall offers 12,500 square feet of column free exhibit space, capable of accommodating up to 800 for a banquet or 1,000 reserved seats for a concert or seminar. On the Center's lower level, four meeting rooms are available for gatherings from 20 to 200. Two larger meeting rooms are individually equipped with sound systems for your amplification needs and all rooms are equipped with projection screens. Adjacent to the Midland Center is Centennial Plaza, an open-air amphitheater amidst beautiful landscaping. When the event calls for an outdoor setting, the Centennial Plaza provides an ideal location for public festivals, family reunions, and private weddings.
