The Housing Developer’s Guide is filled with key contact information from the City’s Planning and Zoning offices, to the County’s Road and Bridge department, and much more. The goal was simply to provide prospective builders a tool to navigate the procedures necessary for the home building process. We have also included a directory of Chamber Member provided products and services that builders would find valuable – everything from architects to electricians, from plumbers to utilities! When searching our online membership directory, look for the little yellow house!

Of course, we couldn’t do this on our own. We are especially grateful to Sylvester Cantu, Jim Nichols and Cameron Walker with the City of Midland, Judge Mike Bradford, Felipe Acosta, Jennie Hilton and Dale Little with Midland County and Karen York with the Permian Basin Home Builders Association. Without their contributions, this guide would not be possible.
We would also like to say a special thank you to Mr. Chris Robin, 2011- 2012 Chairman of the Midland Chamber’s Board of Directors. Chris initiated this project as a tangible way for the Chamber to respond to the need for increased housing, keeping pace with our expanding workforce.
We are grateful for their time, input and desire to make Midland, Texas the best place to live, work and do business! Midland is truly a remarkable place to live...a place to call “home”.
