• Education Committee

    All committees are designed to enhance and further the mission of the Chamber: The Mission of the Midland Chamber of Commerce is to promote business growth and success for its members and the community. 

    The Education committee increases and expands communications and working relationships between businesses and educational communities in Midland County through school/business partnerships. The committee assists with fundraising and planning for the annual Excellence in Teaching and Unsung Hero awards. They have the authority to:

    • Designate Chamber support for local education-related events within the “In-Kind Sponsorship Guidelines”
    • Plan and execute the Excellence in Teaching Awards within the established budget (provided by staff)
    • Coordinate the Chamber’s efforts regarding the Midland ISD Partners in Education Program
    • All other activities may require staff and/or board approval

    Meets: 2nd Monday of even-numbered months
