Event Description:
The Midland Chamber of Commerce is currently planning for the 2018 Star-Spangled Salute celebration for Tuesday, July 4. This free community event began in 2012 with 12,000 people in attendance. Last year at Hogan Park there were 57,000 people in attendance! With a great reputation, this event continues to be the largest attended single day event in Midland, Texas. This generates a great interest from local vendors.

Vendors have the opportunity to reserve a prime space for the upcoming 2018 Star-Spangled Salute. Attached is the 2018 contract with guidelines for the event. There is limited space and this is a limited time offer.  In order to reserve your spot at the 2018 Star-Spangled Salute your signed contract and payment and insurance must be submitted to the Midland Chamber of Commerce no later than June 1, 2018.  Vendors will NOT be able to reserve a spot after June 1st at 5:00 p.m. NO EXCEPTIONS. 


Registrants of Chamber events agree to allow the Chamber and its official photographer to photograph them in the context of the event. Footage captured by the official Chamber photographer may be posted on social media, shared with media outlets, and/or used in future print and electronic promotional materials.

Date/Time Information:
Set up hours will be Wednesday, July 4th from 7:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. July 4, 2018. If vendor would like to drop off trailer/ booth Tuesday, July 3rd between 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. prior arrangements MUST be made in writing to MCOC.

Vendor may choose to operate between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 but are not required to do so. Vendor agrees to operate said facility between the hours of 5:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. 

Vendor agrees to close all sales at 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 local time.

The food vendor fee is $350.00, of which, $100 is a refundable deposit.
