The Midland College (MC) Veterans Association invites the public to a special celebration on Saturday, November 11, at 11:00 a.m. in the Scharbauer Student Center Carrasco Room on the MC main campus, 3600 N. Garfield Street. The student members of the Veterans Association—all of whom are military veterans or dependents of military personnel—are organizing the event. The celebration will include recognition of those who served in the armed services.
“Our veteran students are proud of their military service, and they want to honor fellow veterans in the community,” explained Kay Schipper, MC Veterans Affairs coordinator. “We hope that all military veterans, their families and others who want to thank our service men and women for their contributions to our country will join us for the celebration.”
