The Midland Chamber of Commerce recognizes the value of an educated workforce. The Chamber’s State of Education luncheon on March 22, 2012, is designed to facilitate meaningful discourse on the topic and inform the business community about pressing issues faced by today’s educators.

The discussion will be a moderated panel format. Chamber Members are invited to submit questions in advance via email: info@midlandtxchamber.com. The Chamber reserves the right to combine/edit questions as necessary. Questions submitted by non-members will not be considered - Please indicate the business with which your membership is affiliated.
This year, our guest speakers are Mr. Eddie Lee, Superintendent - Midland Christian School, Dr. Steve Thomas, President - Midland College and Dr. Ryder Warren, Superintendent - Midland ISD. The panel has been selected to provide a look at several facets of education in Midland - both private and public school options for elementary and secondary education as well as higher education.
The event will also honor the "Excellence in Teaching" recipients in both elementary and secondary education as well as the "Unsung Hero".
