Board of Directors

The Midland Chamber of Commerce is served by a dedicated group of community leaders who give their time and resources to make Midland a better place to live, work and own a business.

Education Committee

The Chamber's Education Committee increases and expands communications and working relationships between businesses and educational communities in Midland County through school/business partnerships. The Education Committee members serve as Liaisons for campuses involved in Midland ISD's Partners in Education (PIE) program. They are responsible for attending our bi-monthly meetings and for facilitating the communication between a campus and its partners. Other than assisting MISD with the facilitation of PIE, the Education Committee helps make decisions about the Chambers small granting program, Teacher Adoption Program, and various other education related things that arise.

Government Affairs Committee

The Governmental Affairs committee represents and informs the business community on federal, state and local governmental issues. The committee works to develop and maintain relationships with elected officials, coordinates the development of the Chamber's Advocacy Agenda (utilizing member input) and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding policy issues.

Leadership Midland

The Leadership Midland Committee coordinates the development of program curriculum for Leadership Midland and participates in the applicant selection process. Prerequisite for committee service is successful completion of the program. The committee has the authority to develop and implement curriculum changes; however, significant changes to the program (format, scope, duration, etc.) require approval of the Chamber President/CEO.

M-Squad

The Midland Chamber of Commerce Ambassador program is also known as the ''M-Squad'.'' Participation and support of the M-Squad is both rewarding and challenging. These volunteers serve as a vital part of the Chamber. Ambassadors attend ribbon cuttings, ground breakings, networking events and monthly Ambassador luncheons, as well as assist with Chamber activities and events when possible.
