A video history of Midland, Texas

 The Leadership Midland Class of 2007 has elected to produce a professional video documentary on the history of Midland as its class project.  The video is based on the historical presentations regularly given by Judge John Hyde.  This 30-minute video will touch the hearts of Midlanders by showing the historical value and heritage of our great city.  Learn everything from the founding of the land to how Midland became the Tall City we all know and love today.

What does it take to be a Leader?Just as playing a musical instrument or perfecting a golf swing requires instruction and practice, so does becoming a leader. Potential leadership ability can become an accomplished fact through training and experience.  

Leadership is needed in all areas of our community: elected offices, public education, volunteer organizations, service clubs, business and professional associations and private companies.

Since 1979, graduates of Leadership Midland have proven themselves effective in shaping Midland's destiny for the better. Over time they have honed their skills of defining a vision for the future, building consensus, marshaling resources and identifying tasks to accomplish.

Perhaps you or someone in your organization has demonstrated an aptitude for motivating others to work for a common goal. Such a person will benefit greatly from enrolling in Leadership Midland. Just as importantly, Midland will benefit.
