PRESS RELEASE January 18, 2013 For immediate release TO: All area media FROM: Keep Midland Beautiful TOPIC: Keep Midland Beautiful Annual Appreciation Luncheon CONTACT: Doreen Womack 687-7400 or 556-9949 Cheryl Garing, Administrator of El Paso Native Plant Society, will be the Keynote Speaker at the Keep Midland Beautiful Annual Appreciation Lunch on Thursday, January 24, 2012 at 11:30 am at the DoubleTree by Hilton. Bill Dingus will be Master of Ceremonies. The luncheon is sponsored by Suddenlink. The theme is “Landscape Alternatives”. KMB will be honoring groups and individuals that have helped grow the organization and done exemplary volunteer service in 2012. The Annual Appreciation Luncheon, honoring area volunteers, will be held on March 22, 2012. This year’s awardees will be honored from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at The DoubleTree by Hilton in Midland. This event allows Keep Midland Beautiful Board of Directors and Volunteers an opportunity to recognize those groups and individuals who have made a difference in the community through litter prevention, waste management, education, leadership, water conservation, sponsorship and beautification. Award winners will be available for interviews and pictures.
