The Midland Chamber of Commerce is a membership based organization that exists to enhance the great business climate in Midland. All of the programs of the Chamber are designed to give businesses the opportunity to make or save money. The benefits of membership are numerous and we encourage you to look through the website and learn more about the Chamber. The Chamber is comprised of three basic departments, working to make Midland a better place to live, work, play and visit.

From the moment businesses become interested in Chamber Membership and throughout your entire membership experience, the membership department of the Chamber puts Chamber members first, working to provide members with exclusive networking, marketing and cost saving opportunities. Guiding potential clients to Chamber businesses is one of the benefits the department provides its members. Through phone call referrals, Web site referrals and organizing cost efficient opportunities for members to reach their markets, the department works to improve the bottom line of its members by increasing their business.
Midland Convention & Visitors Bureau

The Midland Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is funded through the Midland County room tax and works with industry partners with the goal of increasing room nights in Midland County, increasing the economic impact of visitors to the area. The CVB works daily to carry out their mission: “To encourage economic growth by developing, promoting, enhancing and supporting Midland as a vibrant visitor destination.” Along with its industry partners, CVB staff promotes the area as an attractive tourism destination to visitors, meeting and convention planners and tour operators. The Midland Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Department, in conjunction with and primarily funded by the Midland Development Corporation, works to responsibly leverage the county’s unique assets to attract, create and expand business opportunities. Staff encourages an atmosphere in which private enterprise may operate profitably and efficiently.
