Allegro Chorale Concert Crossing The Bar
The Allegro Chorale and Orchestra is proud to announce its Spring concert coming up on March 23rd, 2019. “Crossing the Bar” is a musical memorial for all who have lost those that they care for. The concert will feature music by Johannes Brahms, Randall Thompson, Carl Orff, Paul Simon, Stephen Paulus, Eliza Gilkyson, Andrea Clearfield, and numerous other excellent composers. The texts center around the very human cycle of grief and hope as we mourn those who have gone before. The event will be an inspiring evening of beautiful music-making as the Allegro Chorale performs a cappella.
Don’t miss this inspiring musical offering. The concert is scheduled for 7 PM at Rea Greathouse Hall in the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center on Saturday, March 23rd.
