Children's Grief Awareness Day---"Blue Day"

November is Children’s Grief Awareness Month. Children’s Grief Awareness Day, also known as blue day, will be held on November 21, 2019. Children’s Grief Awareness Day is designed to promote awareness of the needs of grieving children in our community. Please join us and wear blue on November 21st. Rays of Hope Children’s Grief Centre is a community outreach of Hospice of Midland. We serve children 4 years to 18 years who have experienced a loss due to death, divorce, separation, incarceration, deployment, foster care, or other painful transition. Through facilitated peer support groups, children share experiences, use creative arts as tools of expression, and acquire coping skills to work through the tough issues that accompany grief. Because we are an outreach of Hospice of Midland, services are provided at no charge to participants.
