Much like medical first aid, mental health first aid is the help offered to a person developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The first aid is given until appropriate treatment and support are received or until the crisis resolves. With the recent quarantine, economic climate, and a near-constant state of change, the need for mental health support has never been more urgent.

Learn How To:

-- Identify behavioral signs of depression and anxiety
-- Recognize physiological signs of depression and anxiety
-- Spot the warning signs for suicide
-- Effectively and compassionately communicate during a crisis

NOTE: Full course certification will not be granted with this preview. Full certification can be obtained with the completion of all eight (8) hours of the course. Contact the instructor for more details.
