HopeWorks--Tuesday Session

HopeWorks is a peer support group whose aim is to guide children through the various stages of grief. This program meets weekly for ten consecutive weeks. Participants are placed in groups of similar ages and circumstance. Tuesday night HopeWorks sessions are geared toward children who have experienced a loss or change due to divorce, separation, incarceration, deployment, or foster care. Sessions are held from 7-8PM. Registration is required. Please call us at 432-684-5437 or email jmorgan@raysofhopemidland.org to register. Rays of Hope Children?s Grief Centre is a community outreach of Hospice of Midland. We serve children 4 years to 18 years who have experienced a loss due to death, divorce, separation, incarceration, deployment, foster care, or other painful transitions. Our goal at Rays of Hope is to provide a safe, neutral place for children to engage in the work of grief with their peers. It is our hope that children will be supported in understanding and accepting their new family unit, grow a stronger sense of self-esteem, and move towards healthy resolution of the changes that have taken place in their lives. Because we are an outreach of Hospice of Midland, there are no charges for our services.
