HopeWorks (Tuesday session) at Rays of Hope

Hope Works is a peer support group whose aim is to guide children through the various stages of grief. This program meets weekly for ten consecutive weeks. Participants are placed in groups of similar ages and circumstance. Tuesday night HopeWorks sessions are geared toward children who have experienced a loss or change due to divorce, separation, incarceration, deployment, or foster care. Sessions are held from 7-8PM. Registration is required. Please call us at 432-684-5437 or email jmorgan@raysofhopemidland.org to register. Rays of Hope Children?s Grief Centre is a community outreach of Hospice of Midland. We serve children 4 years to 18 years who have experienced a loss due to death, divorce, separation, incarceration, deployment, foster care, or other painful transition. Through facilitated peer support groups, children share experiences, use creative arts as tools of expression, and acquire coping skills to work through the tough issues that accompany grief. Because we are an outreach of Hospice of Midland, services are provided at no charge to participants.
