Journey Camp

Journey Camp is exclusively for children and teens who have previously attended the HopeWorks course. This camp is designed as the next level in their grief work. This week of exploration introduces campers to the Forest of Fear, Challenge Mountain, the Ocean of Emotion, the City of Change, the Jungle of Anger and the Island of Hope. Journey Camp will be held July 27th-31st from 9AM-12:30PM! Journey Camp is for children who have previously been through our 10 week HopeWorks session! Please contact us at 432-684-5437 or by email at information@raysofhopemidland.org to register your children. Rays of Hope Children’s Grief Centre is a community outreach of Hospice of Midland. We serve children 4 years to 18 years who have experienced a loss due to death, divorce, separation, incarceration, deployment, foster care, or other painful transitions. Our goal at Rays of Hope is to provide a safe, neutral place for children to engage in the work of grief with their peers. It is our hope that children will be supported in understanding and accepting their new family unit, grow a stronger sense of self-esteem, and move towards healthy resolution of the changes that have taken place in their lives. Because we are an outreach of Hospice of Midland, there are no charges for our services.
