Growth to Greatness: August Session
Trainer: Heidi Kirk, The Brilliant Division

Have you ever met someone at a networking event that makes you feel like they are a starving lion and you are the gazelle mean to feed them? Yep, me too. And, how does the gazelle react to the lion? RUN!

Famine networking makes people feel like you have been starving for decades and they are the only answer to your desperation. Would you do business with that person? The answer is NO!

Feast means there is enough business for you AND for the people around you. Now, that is someone I want to do business with! What about you?

Be trained on:

  • You will learn practical steps on how to move from desperation based networking, AKA famine, to creating a place where you can feast on the abundance around you.
Target Audience:
  • Employees in sales, marketing, business/nonprofit development.
  • Anyone whose success is based on attracting new business and retaining it.

About Heidi:
Heidi Kirk is the founder of The Brilliant Division, an organization whose purpose is to empower individuals and groups to be the most brilliant leaders they can possibly be. Heidi’s vision for life, the company and everyone she comes into contact with is “To empower the brilliance within people to build generations of game-changers who are confident, humble, and willing to change the world they live in.” Her other business roles include Facilities Director and Head Wellness Coach at 2030 Fast Track Midland, Contributor and Influencer at Midland Moms Blog, and Launch Director at Business Networking International.

Heidi’s experience and education extend beyond the business world and into multiple industries, including college finance and enrollment, office management, K-12 education, health and wellness education, and personal and professional development. She has been a coach for many years and in various capacities: as a teacher, colleague, mentor, committee member, and manager. To make her coaching “official,” she completed a Graduate Certificate in Life Coaching at Grand Canyon University and became an Independent Certified Speaker, Trainer, and Coach with the John Maxwell Team.

As a dedicated lifelong learner, Heidi has also attained Masters’ Degrees in Education with an emphasis in Adult Education and Training and in Health Administration with an emphasis in Education, a Bachelors’ Degree in Business Management, and an Associates’ Degree in Administrative Office.

Heidi’s commitment to education has grown far beyond her personal achievements. Her community involvement continues to compel her to reach out to local educational organizations and committees to drive them towards educational solutions that will benefit all children and our future society. She currently serves on Priority Midland’s Health and Wellness committee, Midland ISD’s District Education Improvement Committee, and as Publicity Chair for Permian Basin Bookies, a local author’s group.

Heidi has lived in Midland since July 2014 with her husband John, a multi-talented man with more patience for her than is humanly possible, her six children, and a sweet little baby granddaughter.

Heidi makes the best posole north of the border. She will never roller skate again in her life and might be wondering right now if it’s too late for more coffee, or too early for a margarita.
