The Permian Basin Water In Energy Conference (PBWIEC), founded in conjunction with the University of Texas of the Permian Basin (UTPB), is an educational conference with an emphasis on commercial-free discussions related to water in energy. 
PBWIEC Attendees may anticipate learning unbiased details about the latest applications available in the industry, including current and new technology, and engaging in discussions regarding today’s challenges and opportunities. Networking opportunities include wide-ranging discussions with energy industry peers active in water sourcing, usage, management, and disposal.
Through the engagement of local business leaders partnering with UTPB and other academic outlets, the Permian Basin Water In Energy Conference (PBWIEC) will provide an annual conference to facilitate the development and sharing of information regarding the evolving role of water in the Permian Basin’s Energy Industry. This pending 501 C 3 non-profit organization will invest any net proceeds towards educational grants and/or towards improving the quality of the annual PBWIEC conference.
