IMPACT EDUCATION Overview
A qualified, well-educated workforce is critical to the future of our business community. Therefore, the Midland Chamber focuses on efforts to improve and support our local educational entities as part of our Strategic Plan. We engage in this endeavor through our Board of Directors, our Education Committee, and our staff.
Key areas of focus are:
1. Classroom/Campus needs fulfillment through Midland ISD's Partners in Education Program. The Education Committee members serve as liaisons for the Chamber, schools, and business partners. It is our desire to serve as a conduit through which local businesses can connect with and support local educational programs, fulfill classroom needs and serve as a resource for providing the best possible educational foundation for tomorrow's business leaders.
2. Connecting new teachers with a support network through the Teacher Adoption Program.
Partners in Education is a program of the Midland ISD; however, teachers and administrators from all area schools (public, private and charter schools) are eligible to request assistance through the forms below.
