    Job Summary

    Consult with users, as needed, to develop and maintain programs, processes, and reporting applications using the Jenzabar EX ERP in the Microsoft SQL Server database management environment, and/or other database management systems as required. Assist in data gathering, data integrity, file maintenance, and software development.

    Required Qualifications

    Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

    Experience with SQL programming and SQL Management Studio

    Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, ASP.NET and scripting

    Knowledgeable of Microsoft SQL and/or server/data center environment

    Ability to learn and work under pressure

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience with Jenzabar EX administrative software systems and user support

    Essential Functions

    Consult with users, as needed, to develop and maintain programs, processes, and reporting applications using the Jenzabar EX database management system, SQL and/or other database management systems as required

    Support and train users on the database management system

    Assist the Data Center Manager in the maintenance of the integrity of the College’s databases

    Assist the Data Center Manager in all database and related hardware/software upgrades, patches, and installations

    Develop, test and maintain application programs in Infomaker, iZenda, iReports, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, HTML, SQL, JavaScript, ASP.NET and scripting

    Execute programs and provide results to users

    Create accurate statistical, informational, and state reports as requested or required

    Assist in maintaining procedural guides, training guides, and the work order system

    Assist with system backup procedures

    Other duties as assigned

    Physical Demands

    Must be able to lift or move up to 30 pounds

    Must be able to work extended hours to meet project deadlines, work load, or to perform system maintenance

    Office setting

    Work mostly performed indoors, some outdoor Midland College community events may be required

    Work both on campus and off campus

    Use of manual dexterity

    Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation

    May require long periods of sitting or standing

    Min Salary 4,060.00 per month
    Max Salary 4,308.33 per month
    Pay Statement Salary is commensurate with educational qualifications and experience.
