    Job Summary

    The position of the Maintenance Technician should have a general knowledge of methods, materials, and procedures used in buildings and equipment maintenance.

    Required Qualifications

    High School Diploma or GED

    One year of verifiable experience in building maintenance

    Basic computer literacy including use of Windows system

    Possess a Texas driver’s license and be insurable on Midland College’s policy

    Good driving record

    Preferred Qualifications  
    Essential Functions

    General maintenance duties

    Completion of work orders

    Repairs, electrical, changing of filters, motors, and belts on AC equipment

    Repair doors, locks, equipment, plumbing, painting, and replace light bulbs

    All other duties as assigned

    Physical Demands

    Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

    Ability to climb ladders and stairs

    Ability to operate motorized equipment

    Use of manual dexterity

    Indoor and outdoor work performed in all kinds of weather

    Weekend call approximately every 6th weekend

    Min Salary 2,401.75 per month
    Max Salary 2,401.75 per month
