MIDLAND ISD TO INTRODUCE ONLINE ENROLLMENT FOR 2019-20 SCHOOL YEAR
Midland ISD will offer online enrollment for the 2019-20 school year. Links and instructions for the online enrollment form will be posted to campus web pages by July 29th.
"The new online system will make it easier for parents and guardians to enroll," said MISD Director of Student Information Systems Christina Rojas. "It will also help each campus streamline the enrollment process by eliminating paperwork."
The enrollment process between now and the start of school includes all neighborhood campuses. Enrollment for magnet campuses and schools of choice is now closed.
All students, including those returning to the same campus, must provide proof of residency in the correct attendance zone to be able to enroll. This can be done on campus or online, if the parent/guardian provides a current utility bill or lease statement in their name and a photo ID.
Parents/guardians who cannot provide this information can obtain an affidavit allowing them to enroll by visiting the Student Services Department on the 4th Floor of Midland ISD Central Office, located at 615 W. Missouri Avenue.
Parents will need:
Letter from the person you are living with or landlord stating that parent and child live at address.
Current utility bill (water, gas, or electric; NOT a cancellation notice)
Office hours are Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. through July 25th.
Beginning July 29th, office hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Parents who obtain an affidavit can use it as proof of residency during the enrollment process.
