As a Division I scholarship swimmer at Southern Methodist University, Jessica double majored while competing at the highest level. This experience deepened her understanding of what it takes to create equitable environments where all students can thrive, regardless of background or socioeconomic status.

She later earned her Master’s in Education in Kinesiology, specializing in Sports Management from the University of Texas at Austin, further strengthening her expertise in curriculum design and youth sports leadership.

Jessica is widely recognized for her emotionally intelligent teaching style and her unwavering commitment to accessible, high-quality instruction. She has led the development of innovative programs that serve families across West Texas and is a trusted voice in community health, education, and youth advocacy. You can follow her work on her podcast, Raising Midland, which was developed to connect parents in the Permian to local resources and activities within the area.
