A project of the Midland Chamber of Commerce and the Odessa Chamber of Commerce, the biennial Washington Fly-In brings local business and community leaders to Washington, D.C. for direct engagement with federal policymakers on issues impacting the Permian Basin. Participants advocate for pro-business policies, build relationships with national leaders, and elevate our voices on energy, infrastructure, workforce, and economic growth.
Participants will take part in scheduled meetings, policy discussions, and networking events alongside fellow West Texas leaders.
Due to an overwhelming response from the Permian Basin business community, registration for the Midland-Odessa Washington Fly-In is now officially CLOSED after reaching full attendee capacity.

Fly-In Guests:Â Stay up to date and access the digital program.
- DO: Wear your business attire and bring your layers. Rooms may be cold.
- DO: Check the weather while packing
- DON’T: Wear your jeans to the program.Â
- DO: Remember your allergy medicine. Seasonal allergies are rough this time of year!
- DO: Bring comfortable walking shoes.
- DON’T: Carry your gun. Security will not allow it into the buildings on Capitol Hill.
- DO: Bring the physical form of your government issued ID.
- DON’T: Bring your purse/bag/etc. leave it on the bus or at the hotel. (Be sure to read the document emailed to you for additional prohibited items).
- DO: Plan to connect with friends from Midland/Odessa and make new connections in DC!
- DON’T: Forget to have fun!
