Event Description:
The toughest rodeo competition in the state for high school aged students is taking place at the Midland County Horseshoe Arena October 7-8 and is the perfect way for the entire family to spend the weekend. The Texas High School Region II Rodeo is the qualifying competition for Region II, covering 32 West Texas counties, and a few New Mexico areas. The Junior High and Youth Rodeo begins at 9:00am Saturday, October 7 followed by the High School Rodeo beginning at 4:00pm. On Sunday, October 8, a church service will be held at 8:00am, and the rodeo will begin at 9:00am. Events are free and open to the public to watch and include barrel racing, bull riding, calf roping, saddle bronc, steer wrestling, goat tying, and more.

Date/Time Information:
Saturday, October 7 the Youth Rodeo begins at 9:00am followed by the High School Rodeo beginning at 4:00pm. On Sunday, October 8, a church service will be held at 8:00am, and the rodeo will begin at 9:00am.
