Name: Halloween Fest
Date: October 27, 2016
Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM CDT
Event Description:

The City of Midland's Parks & Recreation Division is now accepting registrations from businesses and organizations to participate in its fourth annual Halloweenfest.

This year's Halloweenfest will take place from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 27 at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center (2300 Butternut Lane) to provide a free, safe trick or treat event for the community. Local businesses, churches, and organizations are encouraged to sign up to take part in the event by setting up a table and handing out candy and providing a game or activity for the children to promote a carnival-like atmosphere.

Other family activities at the event will include face painting, movies, jumpers, music and costume Zumba.

At least 1,000 kids are expected to come through the facility for this event, so participants are asked to bring candy for at least 1,000 children.

Reservations can be made by contacting Joey Jolly at jajolly@midlandtexas.gov or calling Parks & Recreation at 432-685-7379.
